In 2020, Comedy Central announced that it ordered a second revival of the show, which would target the Gen Z demographic. It wasn’t until 2014 that Judge spoke about the possibility of reviving the duo once again, but MTV was not interested. The series also featured the first appearance of Daria, who would go on to star in her own hit show also on MTV. In 2011, the duo were back in an official eighth season which consisted of 22 episodes. The movie followed the boys on a road trip journey to find their stolen television, and later on “score,” all while being chased by the FBI! The film was a commercial success, with a budget of $12 million and earning $63 million at the box office. The popularity of the show naturally lead to 1996’s Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.
